Returns & Refund Policy

This Returns & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made from Temple Research Labs LLC (“Temple Research Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through https://templeresearchlabs.com and related services. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms & Conditions.

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final, subject only to the limited exceptions outlined below.

1. All Sales Final

All products sold by Temple Research Labs are supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only. Because of the sensitive nature of research materials:

Returns are not accepted
Refunds are not provided
Exchanges are not permitted

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded except as expressly stated in this Policy.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged prior to shipment, or incorrect, you must notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

To be eligible for review, you must provide:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographic evidence of the item and packaging

Reports submitted after the 48-hour window will not be eligible for review.

Any refund, replacement, or store credit is issued solely at the discretion of Temple Research Labs and may be reduced by any non-refundable payment processing fees.

3. Shipping Issues, Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Delivery Guarantee

At checkout, customers may optionally add our Delivery Guarantee, a merchant-managed protection service (not insurance) for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

If the Delivery Guarantee was purchased, claims can be submitted at claims.templeresearchlabs.com
Claims must follow the Delivery Guarantee claim process and timelines
All claims are subject to fraud risk assessment, and Temple Research Labs reserves the right to approve or deny any claim based on fraud risk scores
For packages marked as delivered but not received, the claimant must provide supporting evidence (e.g., statements from household members, security camera footage, or a police report)
Temple Research Labs reserves the right to fulfill any approved claim by issuing the equivalent value in Instant Rewards points in lieu of a physical replacement or monetary reimbursement

Our support team reviews all Delivery Guarantee claims directly. Claims that cannot be verified or that do not pass our review will be denied.

Orders Without Delivery Guarantee

If the Delivery Guarantee is declined at checkout:

Title and risk of loss pass to you once the package is handed to the carrier
Temple Research Labs cannot issue refunds, replacements, or credits for carrier-related issues, including loss, theft, misdelivery, or transit damage

By declining the Delivery Guarantee, you acknowledge and agree that you assume all risk for your shipment.

4. Carrier Delays & Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Temple Research Labs is not responsible for delays caused by:

Weather events
Carrier operational issues or backlogs
Customs or regulatory processing
Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

Carrier delays do not qualify for refunds, returns, or credits.

5. Inspection Upon Delivery

You are responsible for inspecting your shipment immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage or shortages must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours
Failure to report issues within this timeframe voids eligibility for review

If the Delivery Guarantee was purchased, claims can be submitted at claims.templeresearchlabs.com.

6. Payment Processing Fees

All approved refunds, credits, or adjustments are issued net of any non-refundable payment processing fees, including but not limited to merchant processing, network, or gateway fees.

7. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback in violation of this Policy or our Terms & Conditions may result in:

Account suspension or closure
Loss of future purchasing privileges
Submission of evidence to the payment processor to contest the chargeback

Chargebacks do not replace or supersede the claims and review process outlined in this Policy.

8. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update or modify this Returns & Refund Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
